Less than 2 years ago, Wasara launched its line of earth conscious disposable tableware. And now they have been selected as a featured product in the “National Design Triennial: Why Design Now?” exhibition at the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum from May 14, 2010 through January 9, 2011.
Wasara and spoon+fork invites you to join us as we celebrate this remarkable achievement at a private party hosted by Ippodo Gallery New York. WASARA producer, Michiyo Tanabe, and designer, Shinichiro Ogata will be coming from Tokyo to make a special appearance. Japanese sake and sweets will be served.

17th Biennale of Sydney
As Sydney, Australia prepares for their upcoming biennial, this year's lineup of events looks to be a particularly fascinating mix of artistic ideas and passion.
As part of the year's celebrations, renowned photographer, Hiroshi Sugimoto, will be showcasing his new work, Faraday Cage (2010) on Cockatoo Island. This extraordinary exhibit draws upon mythology and the history of photography. During the Biennale's keynote address, Sugimoto San will also share his thoughts on The Origins of Art.
